WHAT HAPPENED AT LAUNCH PARTY?

We hosted the fourteenth annual edition of Launch Party, Edmonton Startup Week’s flagship event which celebrates and showcases ten of the hottest startups in town on Thursday, October 12, 2023, at the Edmonton Convention Centre.

Launch Party showcases our city's brightest entrepreneurs, their innovative products and celebrates everything that our startup community has to offer.  Since 2010, more than 120 Edmonton-based, startup companies have launched products at the event, including rapidly growing teams like Jobber, Drivewyze, Poppy Barley, and Showbie.

The ten selected Launch Party 14 companies get to pitch and showcase their innovative product at the keystone event during the 10th Edmonton Startup Week in front of a crowd of 900 from Edmonton’s growing business and innovation communities. This October, a $10,000 cash prize* aims to ensure that one winning company has early capital toward a major growth milestone in celebration of the 10th anniversary.

In addition to pitching their company at this year’s Launch Party, founders will receive one-to-one coaching and mentorship from Edmonton Unlimited’s compass sponsors, MNP and Dentons.
