Startup Crawl is one of Edmonton Startup Week’s most popular flagship events, designed to showcase the vibrancy and geographic spread of innovation across the city.

What is Startup Crawl?

Last year, we introduced a travelling Startup Crawl, taking people beyond the downtown core to get a behind-the-scenes look at some of the companies and spaces shaping Edmonton’s tech & innovation community. This year, we’re bringing it back and reviving the downtown Startup Crawl — giving you two different ways, on two different days, to explore.

Depending on the Crawl, you’ll either travel by shuttle to visit companies and innovation spaces across the city or explore downtown on foot, stopping at tech companies, offices and other spaces along the way. Both are designed to get you out into the community, meet the people building here and see where the work is actually happening.

A quick note about registration: Space on each Startup Crawl is limited, so registration begins with a request to join. Submit your request for the Crawl you’d like to attend, and requests will be reviewed and approved on a rolling basis. If you’re confirmed for a spot, we’ll send along all the details you’ll need for the day.
